The bones of Response to Intervention. In Garland ISD, RTI is program that helps us gauge our students' mastery of specific Reading and Math content we've taught them throughout the quarter (i.e. phonemic awareness, geometric shapes, etc). This is all about Miller's journey through life. He speaks specifically to the things he learned as he decided to get physically healthy and join a group of cyclists.

All about approaching relationships, both at home and in the classroom, with intrinsic rewards instead of primarily external rewards. You help them move from being managed by you to being managed by themselves. And your primary job is to affirm and encourage the behaviors you want to see. I tell my students I am looking to catch you doing right, what you're supposed to be doing.
